FLOWER CARE
How to Care for Your Landeau Roses
Caring for your luxury rose bouquet is effortless. Follow these five steps to keep your roses fresh and beautiful for as long as possible:
1. Handle with Care
The Landeau signature box is designed to serve as a vase throughout the life of your roses. Inside, a discreet plastic liner holds water to keep your bouquet hydrated. Always keep the box level when moving it to prevent spills and maintain optimal hydration.
2. Keep Roses Away from Heat & Sunlight
Place your bouquet in a cool, shaded area, away from direct sunlight, heating vents, or appliances. Fresh-cut roses last longer when kept at a stable, cool temperature.
3. Maintain Proper Hydration
After a few days, gently lift the bouquet and tissue to check the water level in the internal vase—it should be about two-thirds full. Refill as needed, checking every 2-3 days, and replace the water completely every 4-5 days for best results.
4. Trim the Stems Regularly
Every 3-5 days, trim each rose stem at a 45-degree angle using sharp garden clippers or a knife (avoid scissors). Angled cuts allow the roses to absorb water more efficiently, extending their lifespan.
5. Refresh & Refine
As your bouquet matures, some outer petals may wilt, bruise, or turn brown—this is a natural process. To maintain a pristine look, carefully remove any blemished petals while avoiding excessive handling of the fresh layers beneath.
By following these simple care tips, your Ecuadorian roses can last up to two weeks, ensuring an elegant and long-lasting bouquet
